The J. Gadsden & Co Building
This Building had been unused for about 20 yrs. There was a thick moss build up on the bricks, a painted band through the centre, brown paint ¾ of the way up and painted Oamaru Stone along the cornices. JetX the licensed operator of the VESS™ Restoration Cleaning System applied the Moss Treatment to the surface then cleaned the moss of. JetX then did a restoration strip where we removed the paint from the Oamaru Stone and Red Brick. As JetX removed the white band it exposed the original sigh writing that was painted on the surface. The Architect asked JetX not to remove this last layer – our techniques are so gentle that we were able to do this.
